The International Cinematographers Guild said today that its 55th annual ICG Publicists Awards will be handed out Friday, March 2, at the Beverly Hilton. Nominations will be announced in January.

The Publicist Awards Committee will be selecting nominees for the Maxwell Weinberg Publicists Showmanship Award for Television on Thursday, Nov. 9. 

Marking its 21st year, the ECA competition has come of age, drawing another capacity crowd to the DGA venue and set to go on tour with screenings and award ceremonies at the SVA Theatre in New York City on October 29, at SCADshow in Atlanta on November 5 and at The Logan Theatre in Chicago on November 12.

Due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, the IATSE will donate $10,000 to the Walsh/DiTolla/Spivak Foundation to provide financial assistance to affected IATSE members and their families.

The IATSE issued a statement on the events that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia this past week.
