Sanders, Dems Reintroduce the PRO Act
18 Mar 2025

As seen on the St. Louis/Southern Illinois Labor Tribune:
U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders and Congressman Bobby Scott have reintroduced the Richard L. Trumka Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, and Labor leaders say they are prepared to fight to get the legislation passed.
The PRO Act was previously passed in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2021, but an anti-worker majority blocked it in the Senate. The bill would hold companies accountable for violating employees’ rights and make it easier for workers to organize and negotiate with a union.
