Puerto Rico

Eastern Region Director Anna Nowlan and Central Region Business Rep Jo Ruiz Torres met with members in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Nowlan and Ruiz updated the membership on the new ICG600.com and gave a general update on the state of the NLRB. The group held a moment of silence for Camera Operator Edgar Colon who passed in 2024.

Seattle

Santa Fe

March 13 was Film & Media Day at the New Mexico State Capitol. Local 600 was joined by IATSE Local 480, the New Mexico Film Office, and other unions and organizations coming together to connect with legislators and network with industry professionals. Pictured here is SAG-AFTRA member, Emilio Estévez, announcing that the upcoming feature, Young Guns 3: Dead or Alive, will film in New Mexico.

Los Angeles

Local 600 Unit Publicist, Sheryl Main, seated, attended Syracuse University's satellite campus in Los Angeles to meet with students taking "Entertainment PR in LA," a publicity-focused course taught by longtime publicist, Mitch Messinger. Main gave a presentation on all that unit publicists do on set, and answered questions from the students, many of them aspiring publicists.
