Local 600 @ NAB Show 2025

Local 600 hosted two panels at this year's NAB Show in Las Vegas. The first panel, "2nd Camera Assistants: Camera’s Indispensable Shapeshifters," featured 2nd ACs Jason Alegre and Yuka Kadono in a discussion on adapting to different production types as well as how to become indispensable to 1st ACs and Directors of Photography. The union's second panel, "Unscripted Meets Sustainability," focused on how productions are finding ways to meet sustainability goals on-set. Local 600 Lighting Designer Oscar Dominguez was joined on the panel by Cyle Zezo, founder of Reality of Change, and Tracey Baird, showrunner and producer. Both panels were moderated by Local 600 Assistant Western Region Director, Michael Chambliss. Our thanks to all the attendees.
