CA Film & TV Tax Credit Expansion Bills Clear State Assembly, Senate Committees

The California Senate’s Revenue and Taxation Committee on Wednesday voted out of committee a bill aimed at expanding and retooling the state’s Film and Television Tax Credit Program.

With unanimous approval from the committee, SB630 is now going to the full Senate for consideration. This marks yet another small step toward the state’s goal of responding to runaway production by making California more amenable to film and television productions.
