"Get Out" and "Stranger Things 2" Publicity Campaigns Wins Top Honors at the 55th Annual ICG Publicists Awards
BEVERLY HILLS (March. 2, 2018) – The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists today announced winners of its 55th Annual ICG Publicists Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. GET OUT (Universal Pictures) won the top honors for Best Publicity Campaign for Motion Pictures and STRANGER THINGS 2 (Netflix/Wonder View) won the Best Publicity Campaign in Television, both presented by KELLY MARIE TRAN (Star Wars: The Last Jedi). This year’s luncheon, which traditionally occurs the week leading up to the Academy Awards®, was chaired by HENRI BOLLINGER and co-chaired by TIM MENKE. More than 900 industry leaders attended including guild members, Hollywood public relations and marketing executives, producers, studio and network executives, celebrities and press. ICG Publicists Awards Set for March 2, 2018
LOS ANGELES (Dec. 11, 2017) – The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) 55th Annual ICG Publicists Awards Luncheon will take place Friday, March 2, 2018, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The awards, which traditionally occurs the week leading up to the Academy Awards®, will be presented in the following categories: Motion Picture Showman of the Year, Television Showman of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Maxwell Weinberg Publicist Award for a Television Campaign and for a Movie Campaign, Les Mason Award for Career Achievement in Publicity, and the Bob Yeager Award for Community Service. Maxwell Weinberg Publicist Showmanship Award - Television
LOS ANGELES (Sept. 19, 2017)
The Publicist Awards Committee will be selecting nominees for the Maxwell Weinberg Publicists Showmanship Award for Television on Thursday, Nov. 9. We invite you to submit the television campaigns you believe to be worthy of this award for consideration by the Awards Committee. Union publicists who worked on the campaign for a particular TV show are welcome to make an in-person presentation to the committee that evening. If you would like to submit a show for consideration, please fill out this form before November 7, 2017.
